Cardi B’s ‘WAP’ featuring Megan Thee Stallion, debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week and logged the most streams in a debut week for a song on the chart ever, with 93 million streams in the United States.
To celebrate this achievement, the rapper Cardi B posted a video that she shows the chart data from her phone while dancing; she showed up her excitement about the news by writing the following caption:
“Number fu**ing one!!!!! NUMBER 1!!! My 4th number 1 on @billboard hot 100… I’m just so thankful I want to hug the LORD!!!”
The 27-year-old rapper also thanked Megan Thee Stallion for her collaboration and called to her fans:
“Thank you soo much @theestallion. I don’t even know how to thank you, I wish I can give you a big ass hug!!! Thank you to my fans Megan fans. Thank you the world for listening. I’m just so thankful I can’t even type it. I get like a bad bit** and tell you later. Love you WAAAAAAAPP”
Also, Stallion took to her verified Instagram and released the following message, alongside the cover art of the single:
