Ariana Grande, the recipient of one Grammy Award, one Brit Award, two Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and eight Guinness World Records, broke another music record and became the most streamed female artist of all-time on Spotify.
Grande, who featured on Lady Gaga’s ‘Rain On Me,’ posted a tweet of Chart Data that reads “Ariana Grande is now the most streamed female artist of all-time on Spotify, surpassing Rihanna (over 20.5 billion)” and shared her excitement with fans by writing:
“Holy sh*t thank you all so much for listening and caring at all let alone this much. I can’t wait to give you new things to listen to.”
Then the ‘Thank U, Next’ singer wrote that she hoped Rihanna would soon regain her crown with a new album:
“Now can Rihanna please drop her album so she can rightfully snatch this back and fill my ears again please or …”
Besides, Rihanna confirmed that she was working on a new release, last month, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
