TV personality and former model Yolanda Hadid unveiled a photo of her granddaughter, with a lengthy message through social media, on her own birthday.
Hadid, who turned 56 on January 11, took to Instagram to show off how happy she is with her life she shares with her family, especially Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik‘s newborn. Hadid posted two photos through her verified account, including a photo of herself cradling the baby and a photo with her mother. Alongside the photos, the grandmother wrote:
“My birthday blessings… When I woke up this morning and counted all my blessings in life this little Angel was ranked #1“
Hadid added that being a grandmother is a truly new feeling, a part of her heart she did not know exist, and then referred to her mother, Ans van den Herik and continued her message as follows:
“I very much miss my mamma on this special day that used to be ours, the first call of my day, 2 women reminiscing about life and what this day was like in 1964…”
‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star described her mother’s absence as an empty hole in her heart “that can’t be filled with anything else but love, respect, and gratitude for the woman that gave birth to” her. She went on praising her mother who passed away in 2019:
“I always knew she was crazy for her grand kids but this is the first time I truly understand the depth of how much she loved my children and how blessed they were to have her influence in their lives… God bless my mamma in heaven! Today is for you…”
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid, who welcomed her first child with Zayn Malik on September 19, took to social media to mark the day. One of the most known models all around the world posted a pair of photos from Hadid’s birthday party and captioned them with a message saying Hadid is the best mother in the world:
“Every year, I think I couldn’t love, look up to, or learn from her more — and then I do. She’s the best mom and Oma we could ever ask for. So blessed. I LOVE YOU, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. Wishing you the best year 🌼”
