TV personality and fashion designer Victoria Beckham does not skip celebrating the birthdays of the members of the Spice Girls, of which she rose to fame as a member.
On January 12, Beckham took to her Instagram and posted a TBT photo from Spice Girls days with Melanie C in honor of her 47th birthday. Alongside the photo that sees young Beckham and Mel C together drinking wine, ‘American Idol’ judge added an adorable birthday tribute that reads:
“Happy Birthday to the wonderful @melaniecmusic. Here’s to so many amazing memories together!🍷 ❤️ Kisses xxx”
In return, Melanie C, born Melanie Jayne Chisholm, replied to her through the comment section by referring good & old days they were singing together:
“Thank you, my love, hopefully, we’ll be raising one together soon 😘”
Following the post fans of Spice Girls commented on the post with the lyrics of the band’s hit ‘Wannabe‘ by writing “friendship never ends.” As for some of the fans, they likened Mel C to Kylie Jenner.
As known, the English pop band, consisting of Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham, formed in 1994. In a highly short period, the pop girl group became the best-selling female group of all time with over 85 million records. However, the Spice Girls split in 2001, and the members of the group started their solo careers.
