Well-known social media personality Charli D’Amelio took to her verified Instagram account on January 27 to mark YouTuber Madi Monroe‘s 17 birthday.
D’Amelio, who has been regarded as “TikTok’s biggest star” shared some cherished memories with Monroe and penned an adorable message both to show her love for the birthday girl and celebrate the day. Alongside a series of photos that sees the two enjoying the moments together, D’Amelio first wished Monroe a happy birthday and continued by showing her gratitude to Monroe’s television news anchor and show host mother, Erika Monroe Williams:
“@madimonroe was born on this day seventeen years ago and all I have to say is thank you Erika for birthing my best friend.”
Then the social media star implied that the bond between her and Monroe is highly deep despite the opposites:
“For two people who are complete opposites somehow, we found a way to find everything in common. I am forever thankful I have you in my life !! I love you madi 💕💕”
Following D’Amelio’s post full of love, the YouTuber took to the comments section to express her gratitude for her sweet birthday message. As four different comments, Monroe wrote:
“My twin flame, Charli, I love you so much.”
However, the best friends do not share only happy moments: as fans might recall, back in March, D’Amelio and Moore had to issue apologies for a TikTok video, which sees them dancing similarly to anime character Chika Fujiwara, after the TikTok community had found it “offensive” and “a form of bullying.” At that time, the friends claimed that they just had wanted to have fun.
