Canadian singer and songwriter The Weeknd, born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, teamed up with Oneohtrix Point Never for ‘No Nightmares‘ from the upcoming album entitled ‘Magic Oneohtrix Point Never.‘ The singer, who is marked as one of the most successful Canadian recording artists of all time, executive produced the said song featuring Arca and Caroline Polachek.
Tesfaye delivered the news regarding the exciting musical collaboration through his verified Instagram account. Alongside a series of artworks of the song & album, he wrote:
“I got to help executive produce my friend @eccopn ‘s gorgeous album. Thanks for letting me peek into your mind and tap into your sonic genius.”
Then the ‘Blinding Lights’ star announced that the release date of the highly-expected album including the songs ‘Cross Talk II,’ ‘Bow Ecco,’ ‘I Don’t Love Me Anymore‘ and ‘The Whether Channel:’
“We put out a few songs today… Check out “No Nightmares.” The whole album comes out Friday #MAGIC“
The artist, who previously collaborated with The Weeknd for ‘After Hours’ this year, also took to Instagram in order to share his thoughts on the new release. Oneohtrix Point Never, also known as OPN, wrote:
“Much love and admiration for everyone that made this record possible under crazy circumstances— this record means the world to me. MAGIC ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER comes out this Friday on.”
