Jameela Jamil, the well-known radio presenter and actor, goes on slamming social media users who criticize her decisions about her own body.
On June 9, the actor, best known for starring in the comedy series ‘The Good Place,’ jumped into her verified Instagram account and shared a screenshot of her DMs. Alongside the photo that shows a message calling her “baby killer” because of the abortion she had, Jamil stated that she is really sick of these kinds of comments/messages.
Jamil, the former host for the TV show ‘The Misery Index,’ began her lengthy as follows:
“Don’t let anybody tell you that a life not yet lived is more precious than yours.”
As fans might remember, back in 2019, Jami revealed that she once had an abortion; at that time, the actor added that it was the best decision she has ever made. While a great number of people thanking her for opening up about this issue, of course, some people were quick to “judge” her by her decision.
Referring that, Jamil continued her message with the following words:
“You matter to me. Your dreams matter to me. Your health matters to me. Your sanity matters to me. Your freedom matters to me. Your future matters to me. You’re here. Now. You’ve already survived god knows what. You keep going in whatever way is best for you.”
The 35-year-old star, who recently revealed that she has been suffering from a rare skin disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome for long years, concluded her note by repeating that she is happy to have made this decision:
“I have zero regrets, and if contraception failed me again. I would do it again. I still don’t want children. I don’t want pregnancy. I want my personal freedom of choice.”
