‘The Bachelor‘ winner Peter Weber announced that he broke up with his Chicago-based attorney girlfriend Kelley Flanagan, who was also a contestant of the show.
To deliver the news, the television personality, who first appeared in the 15th season of ‘The Bachelorette,’ took to his Instagram and released a photo of him with Flanagan along with a lengthy caption announcing their split. The 29-year-old began his message as follows:
“Love is a funny thing. It can make you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways.”
The Delta Air Lines pilot stated that his relationship with Flanagan was filled with countless beautiful memories, and then revealed the reason for the break-up by saying:
“Our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end. Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on.”
By admitting that splitting is not a picnic and hurts him, he concluded his words by thanking his ex-girlfriend:
“These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you Kelley.”
As for Flanagan has yet commented on the issue. However, Weber’s mother and dad were quick to send a message regarding the latest updates via the comments section:
“Love can be fickle and it is not for the timid. But it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all. Our hearts ache for you two. Kelley will always have a piece of our hearts and we wish her only the best.”
As fans might remember, after shooting for the dating show, Weber began dating Flanagan, who appeared in the 24th season. Then the two confirmed their relationship in May 2020.
