One of the best-selling music artists of all time, Taylor Swift criticized President Donald Trump in a series of tweets and spoke of his attacks on mail-in voting – USPS.
Swift, who released her latest album, ‘Folklore’ a few weeks ago and has reached out to the number one with her each song, wrote referring to Trump’s attacks on the postal service:
“Trump’s calculated dismantling of USPS proves one thing clearly: He is WELL AWARE that we do not want him as our president. He’s chosen to blatantly cheat and put millions of Americans’ lives at risk in an effort to hold on to power.”
As might remember, regarding the issue, USPS General Counsel Thomas Marshall had written to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla and warned voters that their ballots could be at risk of not getting back to election offices in time.
The 30-year-old singer, criticizing President Donald Trump at every return, urged her fans and followers to act early to vote safely:
“Donald Trump’s ineffective leadership gravely worsened the crisis that we are in and he is now taking advantage of it to subvert and destroy our right to vote and vote safely. Request a ballot early. Vote early.”
