Well-known rapper T-Pain, born Faheem Rasheed Najm, on the anniversary of his debut studio album, ‘Rappa Ternt Sanga,’ shared the details of how he and his wife Amber Najm had started dating 18 years ago.
The ‘Low’ rapper, who certified 6x platinum by the RIAA, went to his verified Instagram account the other day and reposted Amber Najm’s post she had shared to mark their dating anniversary, and revealed that December 8 is the anniversary of both his debut album plus the day he first met with wifey.
Alongside the photo shared by his wife, in which a piece of paper with Amber’s telephone and the room number appears, he wrote:
“She let me hit the skins (or whatever they said back then) 😂😂😂😂 good choice babe. I love you. 18 years in. We gonna go forever I promise. I can’t thank you enough for sticking with me through all this crazy sh**.”
As for Amber first clarified the post by saying that she gave the paper in the photo to the rapper on the day they first met and marked their anniversary with the following words:
“I was stationed temporarily at an AF base in Panama City so I was living in a hotel on the base 😂 so that’s why I had a room number. We’ve been together for 18 years now 🥰 Happy Anniversary love.”
As widely known, the couple married in 2003, and they have a daughter and two sons; Lyriq, Muziq, and Kaydnz Kodah. In a 2019 dated interview with PEOPLE magazine, the two-time Grammy Award winner revealed that he and his wife have been in an open relationship for almost 16 years. He added:
“See things from all sides of the situation, and just try to understand each other rather than try to be the one that’s right.”
