Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry joined the ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest in Oakland and shared those moments on his personal Instagram page with a forceful caption.
A six-time NBA All-Star, Stephen Curry uploaded a video during protesting, and captioned this as follows:
“Today was a movement in Oakland! Thank you @juanonjuan10 for the leadership. Everybody play your role and be consistent with it. This is a real moment of change. Keep each other accountable.”
The professional basketball player added a quote of the former member of the Black Liberation Army (BLA), Assata Shakur:
“It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains!”
Curry’s fans responded through comments:
“We’ll have freedom Steph…” said, Gianfranco Sebastian.
“Look at Curry Man just peaceful and always inspirational” added, Alexander Mutalibov.
