The reality show star Sharon Osbourne took to her verified Twitter account to tell her fans and followers that she had tested positive for COVID-19 and briefly hospitalized with the disease.
The 68-year-old also revealed that she was okay right now and staying away from her husband Ozzy Osbourne who has Parkinson’s disease. In her own words:
“I wanted to share I’ve tested positive for Covid 19. After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while ‘The Talk’ is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone, please stay safe and healthy.”
As fans might remember, The Talk co-host Carrie Ann Inaba also said she had been tested positive for the coronavirus disease on December 9, through an Instagram post which reads:
“Hey Everyone, I have tested positive for COVID 19. I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC guidelines, resting and taking care of myself. “
Besides, Osbourne went to Instagram following her tweet and posted a message to Instagram Stories to thank medical professionals, who helped her during her stay at the hospital. She wrote:
“I want to all the amazing nurses and doctors at Saint John’s Health Center for their kindness during my brief stay. Deep gratitude to Vital Life MD Dr. Fradin Read and Dr. Steve Levine.”
Back in September, the colon cancer survivor Osbourne announced that one of her granddaughters had tested positive for COVID-19 during her show.
