Australian model Shanina Shaik turned 30 on February 11, and shared her feelings regarding marking a milestone in her life, through her verified Instagram account.
Shaik, who began attracting media coverage after casting for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, released an array of selfies that sees her in a bandage dress and showed off she is not getting older but more attractive each year. Alongside the photos, the IMG model added the following message:
“THIS IS 30 🎈!!! I needed a day of rest to post today 🙈 I wanted to thank everyone for the beautiful birthday messages – I’m so grateful for all the love.”
Showing her gratitude to especially her close friends for making her 30th birthday so special, Shaik stated she is very lucky to have them. The model, who filed for divorce after a year of marriage with her longtime partner, Gregory “DJ Ruckus” Andrews, wrote that she will celebrate her birthday within a “COVID friendly celebration” not to receive blacklash from her fans & followers.
As known, a great number of celebrities celebrating their birthdays with huge parties with tons of people amid coronavirus pandemic, have been criticized by fans. Not wanting to be one of these celebs, the model wrote:
“It was super important to make this birthday fun but also ( Covid friendly celebration) safe with only close dear friends.”
