‘Shameless’ Star Ethan Cutkosky Confirms He Will Star In A Max Chernov Film: “So Excited To Be Working With This Dope Team”

Ethan Cutkosky was cast shortly after the fan-favorite TV series ‘Shameless‘ came to an end; he is gonna be appearing in Max Chernov‘s debut film!

On June 2, the young star, who famed internationally after starring as ‘Carl Gallagher‘ in the Showtime series ‘Shameless,’ took to his verified Instagram account and released a screenshot of DEADLINE report titled “Stampede Ventures Sets Dark Comedy ‘Going Places’; Max Chernov Makes Feature Directing Debut,” and then confirmed the report by stating as follows in the caption section:

“I am very excited to announce the new feature I will be working on! I am so excited to be working with this dope team and cast!”

The young star, who previously appeared in well-known TV shows and films including ‘The Unborn,’ continued his announcement with these words:

“Max Chernov wrote an amazing script and we are going to have a great time bringing this film to life”

According to the DEADLINE report, Cutkosky will be also serving as a producer for the film titled ‘Going Places‘ alongside writer and director Chernov. What’s more, he will play opposite to ‘Generation’ star Chloe East and ‘We Are Who We Are’ actor Spence Moore.

Regarding the film also produced by Greg Silverman and Grant Torre of Stampede Ventures, Charles Rapp and Giuliano Musacchio, Stampede Ventures’ director of Film Development said in a press statement:

“From the moment we read Max’s script, we knew this project would really be going places. Max has assembled his dream cast for his feature debut, and we’re so proud to be producing this project from his thrilling screenplay and support one of the best new voices in film.”

The release date of the upcoming film has yet been announced.
