Former world No. 1 in women’s singles tennis, professional player Serena Williams teamed up with Stuart Weitzman company for its Spring Collection, and she posed for the campaign with her little daughter Alexis Olympia for the first time.
Williams, who previously featured on the campaigns of SW, released the first shoots, in which she is seen alongside her special guest, through her official social media accounts. On Instagram, she posted a few different photos belong to the SW Spring 2021 campaign and showed off how perfect team with her daughter.
Underneath a photo that sees the mother & daughter all in white dresses plus white boots, Williams wrote the following message while describing her daughter as “mini-Serena:”
“I’m so happy to be starring in the new @stuartweitzman Spring 2021 campaign with @olympiaohanian, my mini-me, my mini-Serena.”
Then one of the most recognized tennis players all around the world established a connection between being the mother of Alexis Olympia and becoming part of the campaign. In her words:
“I love that it’s called #FootstepstoFollow because she inspires every step I take and I hope I inspire her, too. Because while I try to teach her how to be a positive influence, she in fact teaches me how to be a stronger person every day. It’s the best part about being a mom.”
Following the post, Serena’s older sister, well-known tennis player Venus Williams took to the comments section and wrote:
“Such touching words. ❤️❤️ All grown up now. At least for today ;)”
