Actress and singer Lea Michele had posted a tweet about the death of George Floyd and police violence on Instagram on May 29, and she had added Black Lives Matter hashtag.
‘Glee’ star Lea Michele had used the following statements to express her sorrow:
“George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter”
However, everything happened after this tweet.
The former ‘Glee’ co-star Samantha Marie Ware replied to this tweet and accused Lea of making the first television gig a “living hell.” And as a black woman, Samantha criticized Lea for not being honest while supporting the Black Lives Matter Movement.
Samantha answered back to Lea with the following words, and made Lea trending on Twitter on June 2:
“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE I’LL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SHIT IN MY WIG!”
Also, Samantha pointed to Lea’s negative effect on her career:
“AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…”
After Samantha posted the mentioned tweet, Lea caused some eyebrows to raise and got more replies.
Below you can find both Lea Michele and Samantha Marie Ware’s tweets.
