Singer and songwriter Rita Ora, who released her latest EP titled ‘Bang‘ with Imanbek, announced a piece of great news through her verified Instagram account. Ora, born Rita Sahatçiu, declared that she will be performing at The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras on Saturday 6 March.
To deliver the news regarding her attendance at one of the most known LGBT pride parades all around the world, Ora posted an array of pictures and videos through her own social media channel. In the videos, she recorded in her car, she expressed how much happy to be a part of the festival.
In the caption section, Ora, also known as an ambitious LGBTQ+ advocate, wrote the following message:
“I’m so excited to announce I will be performing at this year’s @sydneymardigras at SCG! I’m so honored to be able to celebrate with my LGBTQI+ family and everyone down under!”
Alongside the videos, she added a few shots of her performing at Mardi Gras last time; and urged her fans & followers to join her. The ‘Hot Right Now’ hitmaker concluded her message:
“I’ll be performing songs from my new EP Bang and some fan requests! See you on Saturday 6th March! 🌈 🙌🏼🚀💥🍒🍰🌈🌈🌈”
As soon as the singer released the post, a great number of Instagram users took to the comments section to send rainbow emojis, symbols of the LGBT community.
What’s more, alongside Ora, G Flip, Montaigne, and Electric Fields also will hit the stage at Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade 2021.
