The well-known rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, Puff Diddy, born Sean John Combs, honored Machine Gun Kelly, who has been released his fifth studio album entitled ‘Tickets to My Down Fall’ on September 25. Diddy posted a gif of Kelly, that was designed for his latest album, and praised him for the success he has had through his musical journey. The rapper wrote:
“Beyond proud of you @machinegunkelly and your musical journey to find your truth! Congrats to you and your team on your first NUMBER ONE album #TicketsToMyDownfall!!!”
Then Diddy, the founder of Bad Boy Records that ‘Tickets to My Down Fall’ was released through, called his artist as “a true rockstar” by writing:
“I told you that once you stopped giving a f**k it will all come together. Love you bro keep being fearless and pushing culture forward. You officially brought Rock back…a true Rockstar!”
However, the comments from fans were not like Diddy had predicted to receive; they recalled the diss track ‘Not Alike’ that Eminem had written to mock Machine Gun Kelly. Fans stated if Kelly became “a true rockstar” it happened thanks to Eminem’s diss that made him change his genre.
As one’s remember Eminem aimed at Machine Gun Kelly with the following lyrics:
“Oh, you run the streets, huh? / Now you wanna come and f**k with me, huh? / This little c**k-sucker, he must be feelin’ himself / He wants to keep up his tough demeanour / So he does a feature, decides to team up with N9na / But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne / If you wanna come at me with a sub, Machine Gun”
And the song continues:
“And I’m talkin’ to you / But you already know who the f**k you are, Kelly / I don’t use sublims and sure as f**k don’t sneak-diss / But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie”
