‘The White Tiger’ star Priyanka Chopra has a new title now; a restaurant owner.
It seems that being an actor, singer, film producer, and author is not enough for Chopra, so much so that she took to her verified Instagram account on March 6, and announced that she started running a new restaurant titled ‘SONA‘ in New York City.
In order to introduce her new restaurant to her more than 60 million followers, she included a series of photos including some images of the restaurant and snaps of her and her husband Nick Jonas performing a prayer ceremony together.
Alongside the photos, Chopra, who published her very first memoir titled ‘Unfinished‘ on 9 February 2021 through Penguin Random House, wrote the following message:
“SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country.”
The actor also heralded that SONA is going to open later this month and invited her fans and followers there.
At the end of her caption, as a note, she clarified the photos of herself with Nick Jonas. She wrote:
“The second and third photos were taken in September 2019 when we performed a small intimate Puja (prayer ceremony) to bless the space that would soon become @sonanewyork Godspeed!”
