American singer & songwriter Pink revealed that her father is battling prostate cancer and a serious back injury.
The singer, who declared that she had affected by Coronavirus, posted a photo of his father, Jim Moore, in a hospital bed. She wrote:
“This is my dear Dad this morning headed in for surgery. He just finished his second round of chemo for prostate cancer, fell off a ladder and fractured his back, lost function in his legs until my battered and bruised husband shared his brilliant doctor…”
The ‘Trouble‘ singer, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, mentioned the post-surgery process and her dad’s sense of humor:
“My Dad, scared and in pain sitting with the love of his life, our Grace, and what’s he doing???? Smiling. Cracking jokes. Making everyone else feel better. He’s already back to his old tricks ten hours later, talking about napalm and snipers and viruses and blood puddles…. oh, Dad.”
And she added in a hilarious tone:
“How amazing it is to watch you whistle through Hell.”
Pink, who is known that has been close with her father, in 2006 had recorded a song titled ‘I Have Seen the Rain’ with Moore.
