Well-known model, actor and author Paulina Porizkova, who is familiar with sharing her feelings frankly via her Instagram posts, went to social media one more time on February 9 and uploaded a short clip from her interview with UBS Vice Chairwoman Paula Polito. During the interview, the former supermodel opened up about her marriage with The Cars‘ Ric Ocasek.
Following sharing the video, in which she confessed that she made a few mistakes in her marriage, Porizkova wrote the following message as a caption:
“During my long marriage, romance totally eclipsed my financial thinking. Now I’m basically your perfect example of a cautionary tale so you don’t make the same mistake.”
Then Porizkova stated that she is still learning and that process is painful as well; however, she also said that she would continue to talk about this to encourage the others not to skip focusing on financial issues too. She also revealed the reason for having this conversation:
“To be clear- a cautionary tale because of my own stupidity and naïveté, not because I am in any way a victim here.”
The first woman to be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue concluded her post by saying that love and money should be a mix in marriage.
As known, Porizkova and Ocasek separated in May 2018; meanwhile, the singer alleged that before his recent surgery the former model abandoned him. After a year, Ocasek was found dead in his home by her.
