Czech-born model Paulina Porizkova does not give up the fight against haters on social in her own style.
As all the celebs all around the world have to face, Porizkova has been struggling with mean comments on social media for a quite while. Fans might remember; the former model back in January, she took to her verified Instagram account to slam those who use their platforms to send hateful comments to her. Months after, she became sociable for the same reason.
On March 29, the mother-of-two released a series of mean comments she received mostly about her appearance and age. Stating that getting these kinds of comments is usual for herself, Porizkova disclosed the identity/user name of the hater via the post.
The former model, who frequently takes her social media accounts in order to share her healing journey after losing her husband Ric Ocasek, clarified with the following words why she posted the mean comments:
“Aaand – to start my week- some thoughtful readers’ comments. I know many of you believe that trolls and nasty people should just be deleted- but I beg to disagree. I believe in holding them responsible for what they say.”
The ‘A Model Summer’ author continued her message by implying that sharing these poor comments and commentators is a way of struggling with them:
“Plus, I find them sort of hilarious. You know how you disarm the bullies in the schoolyard, right? You LAUGH at them. 🤪”
She concluded her message with the following hashtags: #bulliesofinstagram #bullies #thissnowflakedoesntmelt
