Well-known media personality Paris Hilton revealed a huge invention she made with Britney Spears years ago for digital photography: Selfie.
To mark the 14th anniversary of the invention of selfie, on November 20, Hilton took to her verified Twitter account and posted an old selfie with pop icon Spears and added a caption that reads:
“14 years ago, @britneyspears and I invented the selfie”
Then the social media personality added the hashtag “#LegendsOnly” alongside the photo, in which both of the two are seen with their signature blonde hair. Actually, 2006, when the duo made up selfie, is the date Hilton was selected as the second-Worst Celebrity Role Model behind Spears.
After getting together with old friend Kim Kardashian West for a SKIMS project, it seems Hilton is trying to build bridges with another name from the past.
As known, the duo have a longtime friendship, so much so that, in September, Hilton told of Britney’s personality and their friendship during her appearance on SiriusXM Andy Cohen Live show. She praised the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker with the following words:
“I saw her this summer. We’ve had dinners, I saw her in Malibu. I just love her so much. She is so sweet and so innocent and such a nice girl. We just talk about happy things. Music, fashion… fun things.”
During the same show, the ‘Stars Are Blind’ star also referred to Spears’ conservatorship; according to Hilton, it is not fair for Spears not to live her own life as she wishes because of her father’s attitude.
“After just working your whole life and working so hard, she’s this icon and I just feel like she has no control of her life whatsoever and I just don’t think that’s fair.”
