Nicki Minaj officially announced that she was the mother of a son.
The six-time American Music Awards-winning rapper took to social media to confirm that she had given birth to a baby boy. As remember, it was reported in October, by multiple news sources that she had welcomed her baby with her husband Kenneth Petty.
Minaj gave the news about her baby’s gender through an Instagram post featuring congratulatory notes she had received from Beyoncé, Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian, Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, Winnie Harlow, and more.
Beyoncé’s note reads:
“Onika, Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family. B.”
As for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West sent a card with:
“Congrats! We love you!”
Minaj, sparking pregnancy rumors with her track titled ‘Zanies and Fools’ a few months before, captioned the Instagram photos as follows:
“Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time. It meant the world to me.”
The rapper, who announced her pregnancy back in July with a series of photos taken by David LaChappelle continued:
“I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favorite liddo boy in the whole wide world. 🥳🧸🎁🎈”
However, the rapper has yet revealed her son’s name to the public.
