‘How I Met Your Mother‘ alum Neil Patrick Harris was quick to mark the 74th birthday of the living legend, Elton John.
On March 25, the Tony Award-winning actor jumped into his verified Instagram account to celebrate the birthday of one of the most-recognized musicians all around the world. Harris released a selfie from their joint family vacation together in Saint-Tropez back in 2018. Alongside the photo, the actor wrote the following message as a caption:
“Thanks you, Elton, for being a wonderful friend, mentor, father, confidant, and champion.”
John is a strong company for Harris as well as being a notable figure for the LGBTQ+ world. As fans might know, on September 8, 2014, John attended Harris and David Burtka‘s wedding ceremony in Italy and performed at the reception.
In order to show his love for his longtime friend, the 47-year-old actor continued:
“The world is a better place with you in it. Happy Birthday, sweet man. @eltonjohn“
A shortly after Harris, who also known as a spokesman for Elton John AIDS Foundation, had released the abovementioned post, John jumped into the comments section to thank for the good wishes. The ‘Rocket Man’ hitmaker wrote:

Harris’ post also served as a platform for John’s fans to send their birthday wishes to the musician.
