One of the most-loved couples of Hollywood, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka have been together for 17 years, as of the date of April 1!
The inspiring couple marked the milestone through their social media accounts; the ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ star was quick to celebrate the day. He uploaded a photo of himself with hubby Burtkha, the couple is seen on a boat while enjoying the sunset and added an accompanying caption. Harris wrote:
“Happy anniversary, David. You are my top priority, my constant inspiration, my baby daddy, and my best friend. Going on a date with you seventeen years ago? Best. Decision. Ever.”
The well-known actor concluded his adorable message by thanking his attorney husband for his love and being the best.
What’s more, Burtka of course did not skip celebrating the 17th dating anniversary. Following posting a TBT shot with his twins’ father, and wrote in the caption section that he has lived the best 17 years of his life and continued as follows:
“You have given me the life I have dreamed of. I am constantly amazed at your parenting skills, how hard you work to provide for our family, how much we still laugh, that we haven’t lost it in the romantic department and most importantly that we are still madly in love.”
Referring that the ‘It’s a Sin‘ actor has been in lockdown, Burtka expressed his sorrow that they could not be together.
“I am sorry we can’t be together today. I can’t wait to celebrate when you are home. I love you with all my heart.”
As known, after attending the Emmy Awards in September 2007 together, the couple announced their engagement via Twitter back in 2014. The same year, Harris and Burtka exchanged vows in Italy.
