Well-known singer, songwriter, and record producer Ne-Yo fired up his social media accounts to mark the 15th anniversary of the release of his first album, ‘In My Own Words.’
Grammy Award-nominated producer posted the cover of his said album plus a TBT video of himself performing the fourth single of the album, ‘Sexy Love‘, and announced in the caption section that he is celebrating that his album turning 15.

Then the singer, born Shaffer Chimere Smith, heralded that ‘In My Own Words: The Re-Introduction – EP’ hit to the music platforms exactly on its 15th anniversary. Following revealing the surprise, Ne-Yo thanked his loyal fans & followers for their support:

Actually, Smith rose to fame after he had penned ‘Let Me Love You‘ for singer & songwriter Mario; its success led him to debut his solo single ‘Stay‘ in 2005, and the said album, ‘In My Own Words’ came 1 year after his musical debut. The 2006 dated album reached number 1 on the Billboard 200, and it received praises for its critical and commercial success.
