Naomi Campbell Pays Tribute To Michael Jackson On His 12th Death Anniversary

One of the most known models of all time, Naomi Campbell paid tribute to the King of the Pop on his twelfth death anniversary.

In order to pay homage to the musician who passed away on June 25, 2009, due to cardiac arrest, Campbell, who has been under media coverage since she announced that she had welcomed her first child back in May 2021, took to her verified Instagram account and posted a photo from Michael Jackson‘s music video for the song ‘In the Closet.’

Alongside the TBT photo, in which the model is seen caressing Jackson’s cheek, she added a hearty message. In her own words:

“On this day 12 years ago I would never forget the deep sadness that swept through us all… The world… The King of the Pop, Michael I will never forget your friendship.”

Campbell, who has been appeared in the music video directed by Herb Ritts continued her tribute with these words:

“You will forever be in my and our hearts. There will never be another.”

As fans might remember, the music video, in which the two perform sensual dance routines together, received highly favorable acclaim from both fans and the music critics when it released on April 9, 1992.

Shortly after the music video, which was banned in Africa because of the abovementioned sensual scenes, the rumors that Campbell and Jackson were together spread. However, the two stars stated multiple times that they had never ever dated.
