Mod-Sun, well-known singer and songwriter, jumped into his verified Instagram account and revealed that one of his biggest dreams came true the other day.
The singer, also known as Modern Sunshine, made his national TV debut Wednesday night by appearing as a musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel’s well-known show, with his girlfriend Avril Lavigne. The two performed their latest musical collaboration ‘Flames,’ with drummer Nick Gross and producer John Feldmann.

“I’ve been waiting what seems like my entire life to post this exact clip of Jimmy holding a vinyl with my photo on it….my dad used to take me into the audience all the time to watch the show. I always told him I’m gonna be on that stage one day… I know my pops had something to do this + was cheering me on from heaven.”
The singer, who revealed the other day that he had almost died two years ago of his illegal substance addiction, continued his message as follows:
“I wanna thank Jimmy Kimmel for giving me this opportunity, my amazing team for helping make it happen, + of course my queen Avril for being right there next to me.”
Following the post, the response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive; they sent their congratulatory messages to the star.
