Mod Sun Describes His 34th Birthday He Spent With Girlfriend Avril Lavigne As “The Best Of His Life”

Singer and songwriter Mod Sun celebrated both his 34th birthday and the release of his single called ‘Heavy‘ featuring Blackbear, on March 13, through his verified Instagram account.

Mod Sun, who has been in the public eye since began a relationship with well-known musician Avril Lavigne, went to social media with a couple of shots that sees him with Lavigne in a luxury boat and stated in the caption section that his 34th birthday is the best.

The ‘Internet Killed the Rockstar’ singer, born Derek Ryan Smith, wrote:

“It’s been the best birthday of my entire life… I feel like the luckiest kid in the world….+ Yeah we get older every year but the kid in me is glowing more than ever right now. My wildest dreams are all coming true🥺 Thank you to my love Avril for all the surprises this week”

Following thanking her love, the singer expressed that “Pop Punk Queen” always makes him feel so special. In his message, Smith did not skip thanking musician Blackbear for their collaboration:

“Thank you to @bear for being a part of my new song ‘HEAVY’ (out now duh) we’ve been brothers for over a decade now😭”

As soon as the singer released the abovementioned Instagram post, Lavigne jumped into the comments section and showed her love for him with the following words:

“So much to celebrate 💚💚💚💚💚🔥🔥🔥🔥 34 gimme me more !!!! Lets go gonna be an epic year! Luv you”

Even though the singer stated that he has been spending the best time of his life with Lavigne, he had relationships with a couple of well-known names. As known, Smith had reportedly a subsequent monogamous relationship with Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau.
