Mod Sun goes on expressing his gratitude to have appeared in ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ as a musical guest alongside his girlfriend Avril Lavigne.

The singer, who is also known as a member of the hip hop duo Hotel Motel, took to his verified Instagram account and released a series of photos of himself captured during his ‘Flames‘ performance. Alongside the photos, in which he is seen singing the song alongside Lavigne in a skatepark, the Minnesota-based singer wrote:

“This was for all the underdogs… To everyone who told me I couldn’t sing…”

After slamming those who tried to get him given up, the 34-year-old, who gained the media attention with his fifteen month-long marriage with Bella Thorne, continued his message as follows:

“I still love you, but you were so wrong. Swipe to the end to see a video of my entire heart pouring out of my body. Thank you for this.”

Then Modern Sunshine thanked girlfriend, Canadian singer Avril Lavigne for joining him on stage.

As fans might remember, the other day, the singer took to his verified social media accounts and revealed that he had waited for a lifetime to be appearing as a musical guest on the show of Jimmy Kimmel. At that time, he penned:

“I’ve been waiting what seems like my entire life to post this exact clip of Jimmy holding a vinyl with my photo on it….my dad used to take me into the audience all the time to watch the show. I always told him I’m gonna be on that stage one day… I know my pops had something to do this + was cheering me on from heaven.”
