Miley Cyrus took to Instagram on January 8 both to celebrate her sibling, Noah Cyrus‘ 21st birthday and give guidance to her as an older sister.
The ‘Prisoner‘ hitmaker posted a TBT photo that sees her holding her baby sister, and added a lengthy caption marking the day. Cyrus first wished her sibling a happy birthday, then stated she loves her baby sister turned big sister.
Stating the roles reversed and Noah started taking care of her in the painful days, Cyrus continued:
“The day you were born I never knew that one day the roles would be reversed and you would be the one taking care of me. You were such a rockstar thru the experience of losing Mary Jane.”
Cyrus, saying she could not have gotten there in her life and career without her sister, admitted that Noah led her to make the tough but right decisions at the same time. She added:
“You’ll have many more of those choices in your own life & I am here for you every step of the way. ✝️ love you always. Happy 21st. “
At the end of the caption, Cyrus advised the ‘I Got So High That I Saw Jesus‘ star to limit drinking in order to enjoy her birthday. In her own words:
“Don’t get near as drunk as I did 💕 I practically missed my own party cause I spent the night over the 🚽 🤮 💚”
The only celeb marking Noah’s birthday is not Miley Cyrus; but also YouTuber Tana Mongeau, who frequently fuels romance rumors between her and the singer through social media posts, took to Instagram. She posted a photo of herself with the singer, who received her first Grammy nomination, and added a caption describing Noah as “the only girl that can write a song about” her. Then she continued:
“You deserve a day filled with all the love you show everyone around u 24/7 @noahcyrus 🖤🖤 SHAWTY 21 !!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY !!!!!”
