Michelle Obama, the former first lady, was one of those expressing their admiration over Conan O’Brien following the ending of his show ‘Conan.’
On June 26, Obama took to her verified Twitter account, included a photo of herself alongside the well-known comedian, captured ahead of the recording of ‘Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend‘s episode she appeared as a guest. In addition to the photo, Obama, who has also her own podcast show, added a message so as to praise O’Brien; she began:
“Congratulations to my friend, Conan O’Brien, on an incredible run. Thank you for bringing light and laughter into our homes for over 28 years—we’re all a little better off because of it.”
As now widely known, O’Brien left his TBS show, ‘Conan‘ back on June 24; once the news spread, almost every celebrity who appeared in the show as a guest once, became sociable and released posts devoted to the famous comedian.
A shortly before the comedians leaving, it was announced that he would begin a weekly variety show on HBO Max. Referring to his upcoming project, the ‘Becoming’ author concluded her message as follows:
“So excited to see where your next chapter takes you.”
In addition to his forthcoming weekly show, O’Brien will continue his projects including ‘Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend,’ ‘Literally with Rob Lowe’ and stand-up specials.
