Megan Fox finally took a legal step to split from Brian Austin Green.
After making her red carpet debut with Machine Gun Kelly a few days ago at American Music Awards, Fox filed for divorce from Green on November 25 in Los Angeles County Court. According to The Blast, the ‘Beverly Hills‘ star filed his response to the court; even though it is still not known whether custody or support will be an issue, it seems for now that the divorce is amicable.
As known, the ‘Transformers’ star and husband confirmed that they have been not together since May after Fox had been spotted spending time with Machine Gun Kelly, born Colson Baker, even though she was still married to Green. The ‘90210’ also said in a statement that he knew about Baker and Fox romance, and revealed that Fox did not cheat him with the musician.
However, the couple, who share three children – 8-year-old Noah Shannon, 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom, and 4-year-old Journey River – did not draw an amicable picture while the actor publicly dating Baker. According to Fox’s claims, Green tried to show her ex-wife as an insufficient and irrelevant mother, with a series of posts shared by him at different times to imply.
Actually, the couple first met on the ‘Hope & Faith’ set when Fox was 18 years old while Green was 30. They started dating in 2004 and after two years, the two announced their engagement. Green and Fox tied the knot in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on Maui, in 2010. After 5 years and two children, Fox filed for divorce; however, they got together and welcomed their third child, Journey River.
