Marshmello Postpones ‘JOYTIME’ Tour To 2021: “Dear Mellogang, I’ve Decided To Cancel My Tour”

The well-known electronic music producer and DJ, Marshmello announced that he canceled ‘JOYTIME’ tour until 2021 due to coronavirus outbreak.

With his real name Christopher Comstock, released the news through Instagram by making a written statement regarding the issue. Comstock, who is known for the hits such as ‘Silence,’ ‘Wolves,’ ‘Friends,’ and ‘Happier,’ wrote:

“Dear Mellogang, I’ve decided to cancel my tour. Up until a few months ago, pandemics were just something I thought existed in movies and the history books that we all read in school, little did any of us ever imagine we’d be living through one as I type this. The safety and well-being of every single one of you is way important to me than the thought of rescheduling the tour for 2021.”

Like many singers & producers, Comstock revealed the cause of the delay as coronavirus pandemic; then he continued by informing the ticket holders:

“I also know a lot of us have been hit hard financially on top of everything else so I wanted to make sure everyone that bought a ticket got their money back. All tickets will be fully refunded at the point of purchase.”

The MTV Music Award winner concluded his statement by encouraging his followers to take necessary precautions against pandemic:

“It’s so important for us to be there for one another during these testing times so I want all of you to know that I can’t wait to see you all soon. Stay safe, wear your mask, wash your hands, and practice social distancing. The sooner we can do all that, the sooner we can go back to life as we once knew it. Love, Marshmello”
