‘Good As Hell’ hitmaker Lizzo took to her verified Instagram account and revealed her secret to handle the painful days she feels helpless.
While the news that people of color were fatally shot all around the United States spread, Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, became sociable and shared a couple of photos of herself. After sharing the photos, in which she seems not happy and satisfied, she added the following message as a caption:
“Hi. I felt helpless today. I changed my hair color and did my makeup and made funny faces to make myself laugh. It’s the least I could do. If you haven’t done anything nice for yourself today this is your sign to find a light.”
The 32-year-old singer, who is also known as an ambitious activist for ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement, concluded her words as follows:
“Black girls, I love you. We deserve to be protected and loved.”
Following Lizzo shared the post, her singer fellow, Demi Lovato jumped into the comments section and left the following comment:
“We love you. She’s a queen who must be protected at all costs.”
In addition to the post referring to the deaths of people of color resulting from police shootings, Lizzo went to her verified Instagram account one more time, and demand justice for Ma’Khia Bryant.
As known, on Tuesday night, 16-year-old Bryant was fatally shot by an Ohio police officer and numerous celebs flooded social media with messages saying that was a racist act toward a Black teenager.
