Little Mix Calls The Government For Duty To Save Music & Entertainment Industry

On July 2, British girl group Little Mix, which consists of members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson, posted a stage-photo from ‘LM5: The Tour’ through the verified Instagram account and call out to the Government to continue their shows.

As known, the music and entertainment industry started a movement with “Let The Music Play” hashtag and demanded necessary steps to be taken for the live industry and its workers who are about to lose their jobs because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

As a part of this movement, Little Mix took Instagram and wrote as follows:

“This was one of our last shows on LM5: The Tour. This was such an incredible night and would not have been possible without everyone working so hard behind the scenes.”

After expressing how much they miss to being at the stage, the music group evaluated the situation:

“Due to coronavirus, the live industry is on the verge of collapse, with people losing their jobs and festivals and venues being at risk of closing.”

Then, they called admonished the authorities regarding this issue:

It’s time for the government to step up and save the industry #LetTheMusicPlay”
