British racing driver, activist, fashion designer Lewis Hamilton, who recently announced that he would continue to fight against social inequality in the United States and to go on supporting ‘Black Lives Matter‘ movement, took to his verified Instagram account on February 27 to show that he is a real sportsman who is also good at other sports apart from racing.
The best-paid driver in the history of Formula One shared a never-before-seen photo of himself that sees him training on a skateboard and revealed that he would skateboard a lot when he was younger. Alongside the photo seemingly captured more than 15 years ago, Lewis added the following message:
“My dad used to roller dance in his younger days and I found his old skates.”
Then the star, who has a great fortune right now, continued his message by stating that he needed to wash a lot of cars to get the skateboard that can be seen in the photo:
“I cleaned a bunch of cars to save up to buy a snakeboard because it was different and I took the wheels off of his skates which had amazing bearings on and soft wheels and put them on my board. At kart tracks this was how I got around.”
