Los Angeles Lakers’ power forward LeBron James took to Instagram the other day intending sending a heart-melting message to his mother, Gloria Marie James, who made a lot for James’ future as an NBA superstar.

James posted a series of photos of himself with a 52-year-old mother, that see them enjoying a yacht trip together, and added a lengthy caption, in which he expressed how much he is thankful for having a mother like her.

One of the most known basketball players of all time wrote that seeing Gloria Maria happy and smiling is one of his biggest accomplishments he ever had in his entire life. 16-time NBA all star champion James added that he wants to make her so proud every single day. He added:

You’ve done so much for me beyond what life can offer and it’s my turn to return the favor!”

According to multiple news outlets, Gloria Marie James, who welcomed James when she was just 16, raised James without the involvement of father, Anthony McClelland. Even though she was struggling with finding a steady job, she led James to play basketball when he was 9.

James continued his message by telling a moment he shared with his mother during the trip:

“Momma Glo looked at me when we got off the boat this evening and said “Son I really enjoyed myself, thank you” and then smiled! Damn near brought tears to my eyes! 🥺🥺🥺🥺!”

Then James expressed his love for mother; he also thanked her for pointing him in the right decision, raising him to be a gentleman, and teaching the difference between right and wrong. He concluded:

“You’re my angel on earth!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
