Kim Kardashian West Is Devastated After Brandon Bernard Execution: “Our System Is So Fu**** Up”

Kim Kardashian West took to her verified Twitter account to express her sorrow following Brandon Bernard‘s execution.

On Friday, Donald Trump administration‘s final days, Bernard, who had been convicted of kidnapping, murder, and robbery was executed by lethal injection. Apart from a great number of notable names in the celebs world, Kim Kardashian made requests to President Trump to stop the execution, however, it was not accepted.

After the execution, the TV personality claimed that the justice system is not working properly, and added that execution must not be an option because a good number of people in jail can rehabilitate and “reform their lives into being a great person when they make awful choices as children.”

On Twitter, Kardashian, who said the actual victims of the executions are prisoners’ families and children, wrote that her heart totally broken with Bernard’s passing:

“I’m so messed up right now. They killed Brandon. He was such a reformed person. So hopeful and positive until the end. More importantly, he is sorry, so sorry for the hurt and pain he has caused others.”

Fighting for exchange his death sentence to lifetime prison, West continued in another tweet by sharing the last moments of Bernard:

“As he was in the chair his attorney called me and they just had their last call and said this… Brandon said he loves you and wants to say thank you again. He said he doesn’t feel too claustrophobic in the chair.”

Kardashian then said that Bernard was an amazing person, who had abandoned the poor choices of his teenage, and criticized the justice system by writing:

“I could go on and on about what an amazing person Brandon was. I do know he left this earth feeling supported and loved and at peace. This just has to change: Our system is so fu**** up.

Following the tweets, a great number of Twitter users congratulated her for using her platform to try to change the faults in the system.
