Hollywood star, who is currently appearing as ‘Mia Warren,’ in the fan-favorite miniseries, ‘Little Fires Everywhere,’ took to her verified Instagram account to pay a tribute to late basketball star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant.
On January 26, the day on which the two passed away, the ‘Scandal‘ actor posted a photoshopped image that sees Kobe in his Los Angeles Lakers jersey while sitting alongside his daughter Gianna who is in a black & white Mamba jersey. Then Washington added a caption that reads:
“My heart is with the Bryant Family and all of the families who lost their loved ones on this tragic day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Today and every day. 🙏🏾❤️”
As a widely known, professional basketball player, who has been regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, passed away along with his 13-year-old daughter and seven other occupants after the helicopter they had broadened crashed into a mountain in Calabasas.
As soon as Washington had released the above-mentioned post, a great number of Instagram users flooded the comments section to pay homage to the legendary shooting guard and Gigi. They left heart emojis to show their love for the two.
