The former member of ‘Destiny’s Child‘, that is one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, Kelly Rowland posted an image that read on “Black Trans Lives Matter” and added a caption to call followers for taking real action about trans lives.
‘Dilemma’ singer Kelly Rowland started her words with the following statement:
“LET’S BE VERY CLEAR…
You can not say Black Lives Matter, and those lives not include Trans! We must protect each other!
And for those of you, who do not know about the countless murders that have happened to trans lives, I really need you. To wake up. Educate yourself.”
Rowland, who sold over 30 million records as a solo artist, invited her followers to fight against anti-trans actions:
“It is just evil what kind of violence happens. Because of hate. In advance to the families of these lives, I am so sorry! And will continue prayer and fight the fight, so that Love will win through it all! And to the kids who are afraid to show who you truly are, don’t be, you have folks out here who are waiting& fighting for you, with you! Show yourself, your most Authentic self!”
However, this bonafide post confused the followers, so, they expressed their thoughts through the following comments:
“I’m so confused! If we’re screaming BLM and the trans lives are Black…Never mind. All I see here is the division for no reason” wrote, AGL II nicknamed follower.
“I’m confused. Doesn’t ‘black lives matter’ refer to ALL black lives?” added, Qzmpwxnoalsk nicknamed follower.
“Who said black trans were not included in black lives matter? If the color of your skin is black you’re included period” said, Britti Samazin.
