The well-known singer and TV judge Katy Perry announced that her new album KP5‘s title track ‘Smile’ is out.
So as to give the good news Perry took to her Instagram and uploaded the promotion video and the circus-themed cover art of the new release.
The numerous award-winning singer, who received Guinness World Record, American Music Award, Billboard Music Award, Brit Award, and Juno Award, captioned the photo as follows and pointed out to the painful times that the entire world has to face:
“Wrote the title track from the album when I was coming through one of the darkest periods of my life and had lost my smile.”
By what Perry stated, in the cover, the singer is representing an unhappy clown that is interpreted as a figure who needs to entertain people.
The ‘Dark Horse’ singer continued by mentioning the theme of the album:
“This whole album is my journey towards the light – with stories of resilience, hope, and love.”
The ‘Smile’ is available to pre-order at midnight local time Friday.
