Author and social media personality Katherine Schwarzenegger became sociable the other day so as to pay tribute to her late grandmother, Eunice Kennedy Shriver, who was an American philanthropist.
The eldest child of actor and former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger took to her verified Instagram account on the 100th birthday of the founder of the Special Olympics, released a couple of photos and videos of her and added a lenghty message that begins as follows:
“Happy 100th birthday to you Grandma! She changed the world and continues to, even from heaven. She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and creator of @specialolympics I love this video because as her granddaughter, I saw her drive and motivation to make the world better and fiercely fight for those with intellectual disabilities.”
Schwarzenegger, who welcomed her first child with her husband, the ‘Guardians of Galaxy’ actor Chris Pratt in previous months, continued her messaage by saying she saw her grandmother’s joy around her her family, “the playful and beautiful bond she had with grandpa, the love she had for her 5 kids and the fun she had with grandchildren.”
The New York Times Best Selling Author concluded her message devoted to the Democratic nominee for Vice President of the United States in 1972 as follows:
“We all remember her with such love and laugh thinking of all the fun memories we have. I know you’re celebrating in heaven with sugar cookies and angel food cake. We love you and miss you every day.”
