Hollywood actor Kate Bosworth took to her verified Instagram account to mark the 10th dating anniversary with photographer husband Michael Polish. On the day, Bosworth revealed an unknown detail regarding the celebration way of her husband.
The 38-year-old, ‘Still Alice‘ star released a series of TBT photos with Polish plus a screenshot of an email invitation of the event they met on. Alongside the photos, the actor revealed that she gets the same invitation every year on March 16, as a reminder of their dating anniversary. In her own words:
“Michael and I met on a movie called ‘Big Sur‘ (the adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s novel). On March 16, 2011 … our first meeting was set through the film’s production to discuss the role and the film and to essentially make sure we had a good artistic connection.”
As known, the couple first met via the film ‘Big Sur’ which Polish directed, in mid-2011. After mentioning their first meeting, the actor also provided further details regarding the day:
“I remember getting ready for that meeting and the exact outfit I wore. I recall questioning him like a sharpshooter to understand how he was going to adapt something as specific as Kerouac. I knew immediately I was in the company of someone very intelligent, unique, kind, and creative.“
Bosworth concluded her words by praising Polish; she stated that the said invitation changed her life forever.
As she told in her caption, the couple, who first met in 2011, announced their engagement a year after. Then the two tied the knots on August 31, 2013 in Montana.
