Justin Bieber goes on launching new projects during the time, which the music industry is going down due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 26-year-old star announced on December 31 through his verified Instagram account that his new single, ‘Anyone,’ and the ‘Rocky’ inspired music video is out. After declaring the news through social media with a short video from the clip, Bieber debuted the song during his New Year’s Eve performance, and said regarding ‘Anyone’ in the live concert:
“I can’t think of a better way to close out 2020 and kick off 2021 than celebrating with my fans all over the world and sharing this new music with them. Music has gotten us all through so much this year, and for me personally it’s been healing and transformative.”
The young singer, who recently dropped ‘Holy,’ and ‘Lonely’ continued by saying:
“‘Anyone’ is such a special, hopeful, anthemic song. It sets the tone for a brighter new year full of hope and possibility.”
In the said music video, directed by Colin Tilley, Bieber appear as a successful, world-class boxer, who defeats his opponents to grab the title. For the music video, Tilley recreated signature scenes from Sylvester Stallone‘s classic movie. What’s more, ‘The Suite Life on Deck‘ actor Zoey Dutch stars in the video as ‘Rocky’s romance ‘Adrian.’
Bieber also released a short video to show how his tattoos were covered up for the music video via Instagram and added a caption that reads:
“No tats for the #Anyonevideo”
The fans, who saw the music video, flooded social media and said that it is highly weird to see Bieber without tattoos and kissing another woman. However, both the music video and the song garnered highly positive reviews.
