John Mayer Marks Ricky Van Veen’s 40th Birthday: “You Have Changed My Life For The Better In Innumerable Ways”

Well-known musician John Mayer took to his verified Instagram account to celebrate his long-time friend Ricky Van Veen‘s 40th birthday. The ‘Inside Wants Out‘ hitmaker shared a series of snaps from the times he had spent with the Head of Global Creative Strategy at Facebook to mark the day, including a photo that shows the two playing Jenga on the plane.

Alongside the photos, Mayer wished Ricky Van Veen a happy 40th birthday in the caption section and praised him by writing:

“A man who has never had a boring thought in his life. A man is deserving of a permanent feed post with multiple photos. Ricky, you are a genius without the madness, a purveyor of joy, and constant thought experiments. Knowing you is like having a lifelong subscription to a streaming service with endless high-quality content.”

Following the sweet praise, Mayer turned a little bit serious and thanked the entrepreneur for uplifting him with his friendship:

“You have changed my life for the better in innumerable ways. Enjoy your special day!”

As known, Mayer and Van Veen have a long-run friendship, so much so that, they have been photographed together by paparazzi multiple times. What’s more, it was claimed that Van Veen and his ex ‘Girls’ star Allison Williams met up with the help of Mayer after the couple had been spotted hiking alongside Mayer and Katy Perry.

However, Mayer is not the only famous friend of Van Veen; following the post, many notable names jumped into the comment section and left the following messages to congratulate the “birthday boy”:

“Happy happy Birthday RVV!!!!” wrote, Rita Wilson.

“Happy RVV40th! Never stop overdressing” added, Gene Stupnitsky.

“HBD @ricky !” said, Jeffrey Azoff.
