Joe Jonas Demands Justice For Jacob Blake: “Today, Tomorrow, And Every Day After – Black Lives Matter”

New dad Joe Jonas spoke out to demand justice for the father of six, Jacob Blake.

As known, Blake was shot in the back seven times by police officers on August 23, in front of his little kids. Regarding this inhumane treatment, Jonas released a highly forceful message through his verified Instagram account. The singer & actor asked to authorities:

“Jacob Blake is a father, a brother, an uncle, and most important – a human. He was shot in the back 7 times right in front of his 4 kids and is currently paralyzed from the waist down. How does this keep happening?”

Then Jonas showed his support for Blake and his family, and pointed out the Kenosha shooting suspect, Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed two innocent protesters:

“Sending my support for Jacob & his family through what will likely be a long recovery as well as the victims of the shootings during Tuesday night’s protests. It is absolutely sickening that a 17-year-old can cross state lines with a weapon, shoot protestors, walk past Police, and then go home to sleep in their own bed before being arrested. The contrast in how we are treating people of color has never been more apparent than it is right now.”

After highlighting the difference between legal practices for Black and White people, Jonas wrote:

Today, tomorrow, and every day after – #blacklivesmatter. If you’re looking to do something, call the Kenosha City Attorney at 262-653-4170 and demand accountability and transparency on these cases.”
