American singer & songwriter Jhené Aiko made mentioned of brother memory by sharing a childhood photo of him and adding a quite touching message.
The ‘Bed Peace’ singer wrote as a caption:
“Miyagi was my first troll (lol) he was always making fun of me… terrorizing me and my dolls. He came on my first tour with me and would sit in the front row some nights and give me the finger and laugh at me 😂 He taught me how to take a joke and how to fight both physically and mentally.”
As might be remembered, her brother Miyagi Ayo Hasani Chilombo died of cancer eight years ago; just after he had heard the ‘For My Brother’ record that Jhené Aiko created especially for him.
Aiko, who reached the top on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, with the single ‘Beware’ continued:
“Miyagi fought for his life for 2 years with a brain tumor and managed to still smile and make us all laugh up until his last days. Miyagi Ayo Hasani Chilombo was joy personified. Miyagi was my best friend.”
She also celebrated her late brother’s birthday with the following words:
“I celebrate his life today and every day because I know I simply would not exist without him 💙 I will always fight and push through in his honor, in his memory. forever and ever and ever ♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾♾ Happy Birthday to Miyagi 7/7/86 ✨”
