Jake Paul Pays Tribute To His Former Bodyguard Shamir Bolivar By Releasing A Photo Of Himself Crying Over Coffin

Jake Paul, who recently garnered media interest with his victories on boxing matches, took to his verified Instagram account with a piece of devastating news. The YouTuber, familiar with sharing comedy and challenges videos, this time posted a photo of himself from his former personal security partner Shamir Bolivar‘s funeral ceremony.

On April 26, Paul announced through his social media accounts that his former bodyguard better known as “The Shadow” passed away at the age of 46. In order to deliver the news, the YouTuber released a photo of himself crying over Bolivar’s coffin. Along with the photo, in which Paul is seen totally devastated by the passing of the CEO of The Shadow Group Security, he also released a tribute.

The former ‘Bizaardvark‘ star paid homage to his late friend, who previously worked with 6ix9ine and certain other rappers, the following words:

“You will be missed deeply Shamir by everyone who was lucky enough to have you in their lives. I know you will be with us all forever, in our Shadow, watching over us and continuing to protect us. This hasn’t been easy but you always taught us to be strong and to never show weakness like a true soldier.”

Stating that Shamir Bolivar’s smile “lit up the room every day,” Paul added that he knows that Bolivar was smiling from heaven when he knocked out the NBA slam dunk champion, Ben Askren, back on April 17. Via the message, Paul also revealed that his late friend passed away before that date. He concluded his message with a quote:

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
